In what can seem like a rollercoaster few days, Tyson Fury has announced he will be back in the ring in April and will have a mega fight in the summer.
Fury walked away from boxing having had his licence revoked by the British Boxing Board of Control after struggling with mental health issues and said he was taking cocaine.
He had the opportunity granted to reapply a few weeks ago but turned down the opportunity and told his social media fans he will not reapply.
After a week had passed he wrote on his twitter he would “be ready to fight in April 2018 in a great fight”
He added he would return “in the summer in a mega fight” and again at the “back end” of the year.
Fury has not had a fight since he claimed the IBF, WBA, WBO world titles from Wladimir Klitscho in November 2015.
What remains to be seen is where he will be applying for his licence and can Fury get back to being champion of the world again.
