Anthony Joshua and New Zealander Joseph Parker met for the first time ahead of there fight to unified the heavyweight championship belts on March 31, in Cardiff, England.
Joshua, current WBA, IBF and IBO champion, affirmed that his key is to mix “intelligence with hard work”. In addition, the boxer referred to his fight against Klitschko: “With Klitschko, all those times it told me, it will take more than a human to stop me from where I’m destined to be, and that’s what I learned”.
On the other hand, Parker, current WBO champion, said: “This is probably going to be the hardest camp in terms of training the hardest, putting in the most work because I have a big challenge in front of me, Joshua”, and added: “I cannot wait to have this fight happen on March 31. Cannot wait to train, cannot wait to be back, to put on a great performance, hopefully catch him on the chin and knock him out”.
Without a doubt, this promises to be a great fight between undefeated boxers. Joshua has a record of 24 wins, 20 of them by knockout, while Parker has won 24 fights, 18 by knockout.
