Sir Mo Farah to be Lottery Funded for the upcoming season
According to the Evening Standard, double Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah is edging nearer to contending at the 2019 World Championships after sub-sequentially being financed by the National Lottery for 2019.

The exciting announcement was made by the Local Organising Committee alongside the IAAF in Doha today with going live online for the first time at 16:00 local Doha time on the official championships website.
After hinting that the competition in Doha is in his sights for either the longer distance race or on the track. What’s more, today British Athletics performance director Neil Black confirmed that Farah with the World Championships and Olympics in Tokyo in his sights.
“Mo has had a phenomenal first year focusing on street dashing. We will keep on supporting Mo in his aspirations and anticipate possibly inviting him onto the British group for the universes as a major aspect of his arrangements of the long distance race at Tokyo 2020.” said Black.
