Discuss of a possible conflict between the two undefeated stars has been working since Nurmagomedov (27-0) shielded his UFC lightweight belt against Conor McGregor prior this month.
Mayweather (50-0) vanquished McGregor in a fight a year ago, yet White demands there will be no rehash with Nurmagomedov, who will only confront the American in the octagon.
“Tune in, if Mayweather needs to battle, come battle,” White told TMZ.
“You battle in the UFC. We’re not boxing him. We did that once. That is finished.
“You need to battle? You come battle a genuine battle.”
Mayweather has been connected with a switch to octagon beforehand, yet neither his nor Nurmagomedov’s camp has openly tended to the terms of a potential session.
