Tyson Fury wins against Deontay Wilder so long as the old Fury turns up

The self declared ‘Gipsy King’ is planning to become a two-time World champion when he goes up against the WBC heavyweight boss, who is 40-0. This will be his first tilt at a title since ousting former champion Wladimir Klitschko in an epic clash in November 2015.

In the wake of doing as such, Fury endured a fight with mental health and illicit drug use which kept him out of the ring for 31 months.

Experts feel Fury can win if he sticks to the ways of the old Fury.

“It’s easy to think that way [Tyson can’t win],” Steve Bunce told BBC Radio 5

“But it’s boxing, it’s heavyweight boxing. Nothing is simple. He is Mr Unorthodox.

Furthermore, Fury isn’t thinking little of the extent of the job needing to be done, marking his adversary the most fearsome puncher ever.

“One mistake in that ring and it’s over. We all know this, it’s heavyweight boxing,” he said.

“But you’re not messing with a normal heavyweight, you’re messing with a man who’s knocked everybody out that he’s fought. Even the one that went the distance with him, he rematched him and knocked him out inside a round.

“I think he’s the most fearsome puncher of all time, Deontay Wilder. So when you’re messing with someone like that, who can take you out in round one or round 12, then you’ve gotta box clever.”
