Dillian Whyte and Chisora says Wilder is too much for Tyson Fury

Chisora thinks Fury is taking the Wilder battle too early

Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte don’t concur on much – however they both trust that lineal hero Tyson Fury has taken on more than he can realistically handle in testing Deontay Wilder for the WBC world title.

Chisora and Whyte will clash for a second time on December 22, at The O2 in London.

Tyson Fury was last in the ring in November 2015 in the wake of managing emotional wellness issues and he turned to drugs and alcohol.

“I’m always going to be rooting for the Union Jack but I believe this fight has come too soon and Fury has taken the fight too early. He has got his own demons that he has to fight first. He is saying to the people that he’s not fighting those demons anymore and I find that hard to believe,” Chisora told Daily Mail.

“If Tyson boxes how he did against Klitschko he might survive the whole twelve rounds. But when he gets hit by that guy, who hits like a mule, it’s goodnight.”

Chisora thinks Fury is taking the Wilder battle too early and Whyte expects a similar outcome, with Fury getting knocked out.

“Wilder’s gonna knock Tyson Fury out. I always support my own, but you have to be realistic sometimes. I would like to see him beat Wilder because if he beats Wilder, that’s a massive fight for me. I just believe he’s not mentally and physically where he needs to be for these kind of fights,” Whyte stated on the Jim White Show.

“Don’t get me wrong, Wilder’s not the best fighter, but I just think at the minute when you look at activity and confidence, Tyson Fury’s gonna get knocked out. But you never know, he’s been to Germany before and proved all the doubters wrong. Deontay Wilder’s got no chin so he might prove me wrong. I would love him to prove me wrong, but I just can’t see it happening to be honest.”
