Watch: On this day Jesse Owens broke three World records

In 1936 Jess Owens broke three world records at the Olympic Games in Berlin. A test was later created with Andre DeGrasse watch what happens.

In 2016 CBC Sport conducted an experiment to see what time a modern day athlete could run wearing the classic legendary Adidas spike wore by track legend Jesse Owens.

Before the 2016 Olympic Games where Canadian Andre De Grasse won his second global bronze medal in the 100m. CBC set up an experiment where De Grasse would run 100m In Jesse Owens’ Spikes.
